Most zinc-aluminum parts need copper-nickel-chromium multilayer coating, which has high decorative requirements. It's all mechanically polished before degreasing. So waxing is the first step, followed by chemical degreasing and electrolytic degreasing. Since the melting point of paraffin is above 70%, in order to emulsify paraffin, the temperature of the wax removal water is higher than 70℃. In the past, people just used ordinary chemical degreasing to raise the temperature to remove wax. This method takes a long time and is inefficient. Now there is a special wax removal water supply, the time is shortened, the effect is better. It's better if you use ultrasound. Generally, wax removal water only removes wax and does not degreasing, but also chemical degreasing. The chemical activity of zinc alloy is very strong, and the alkalinity of chemical degreasing liquid cannot be too strong, otherwise it will corrode the surface. The temperature is generally controlled between 50 and 70 ° C, and the time is 3-5 min. The products available on the market also have degreasing agents that combine degreasing and wax removal in one, and work well with ultrasonic waves. When the process of dewaxing and degreasing is selected, a brown corrosion film is sometimes produced on the surface of the casting under ultrasonic pressure. This degreaser is not suitable for use. The degreaser used specifically for zinc die casting should be replaced. The composition of electrolytic degreaser of zinc alloy is similar to that of chemical degreaser. However, it must contain a complexing agent to use. In electrolytic degreasing, zinc alloy die-casting should be placed in the cathode degreasing, the temperature is 50 ~ 70℃, the current density is 3-5A /dm2, and the time is 1-2min.
