Aluminum alloy die casting how to remove burrs?

The burr phenomenon of aluminum alloy is inevitable, and there are many ways to deal with burrs in the process. In the process of die casting production, due to pressure impact and insufficient clamping force and other factors, the burr of die casting is inevitable. In recent years, with the increasing progress of the quality requirements of die casting parts, the requirements for burrs are also more stringent, and the methods of deburring are also emerging in an endless stream. The deburring process is a headache, the following is a review of the advantages and disadvantages of various die casting deburring methods, which can let you know more about various deburring methods, and choose the appropriate deburring method according to your needs.

1. Manual deburring

This is a widely used method in the traditional die casting factory, using files (files have manual files and pneumatic files), sandpaper, belt sander, and grinding head as auxiliary tools.

Disadvantages: The labor cost is more expensive, the power is not very high, and it is difficult to remove the messy wear jack.

Scope of application: The technical requirements for workers are not very high, suitable for aluminum alloy die-casting parts with small burrs and simple product structure.

2. Deburring the die

Use a manufacturing die co-punch for deburring.

Disadvantages: The need for certain die (rough die + fine die) manufacturing costs, may also need to manufacture shaping die.

Scope of application: Suitable for aluminum alloy die casting with simple parting surface, better power and deburring action than manual.
